Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Sign-Post and describes our current practices.

Who we are

Sign-Post is a link-in-bio platform operated in the United Kingdom. It lets people create a single branded page that points their social media audience to their own links.

For any privacy question, or to request a copy or deletion of your data, contact hello@sign-post.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Account details: the email address and password you register with. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider — we never see them.
  • Page content: the name, subtitle, tagline, links, colours and profile image you choose to publish on your page. This is public by design.
  • Usage counts: anonymous counts of page views and link clicks so you can see what is working. We do not store IP addresses, names or device fingerprints against these counts.

What we do not collect

We do not sell data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of the people who visit your page. Visitors to a public Sign-Post page are not asked for any personal information by us.

Cookies

We use a single cookie to keep you signed in to your dashboard. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies on public link pages.

Where data is stored

Account and page data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level access controls, and uploaded images are held in private storage served through our own application. Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and page data for as long as your account is open. Email hello@sign-post.co.uk to have your account and its content deleted; we action deletion requests within 30 days.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Email hello@sign-post.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

Changes

If we change how data is handled we will update this page. Continued use of Sign-Post after a change means you accept the updated policy.
