Your account

You need a valid email address to create an account, and you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything published from your account.

Your page and your URL

You choose a handle that becomes your public address, for example sign-post.co.uk/yourname. Handles are allocated first come, first served, and we may reclaim a handle that impersonates someone else or is used in bad faith.

Acceptable use

• •No malware, phishing, scam or deceptive links.
• •No content that is illegal, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit.
• •No impersonating another person, business or brand.
• •No attempting to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the platform.

Links you publish

Sign-Post displays the links you add. We do not control, endorse or check the destinations, and you are responsible for making sure they are lawful and accurate. We can remove a page or link that breaches these terms.

Regulated advice

Some Sign-Post users work in regulated sectors. Anything published on an individual's page is that person's own content and their own regulatory responsibility, not Sign-Post's.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for losses arising from downtime or from links you publish.

Ending your account

You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing hello@sign-post.co.uk. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
